My Ponies
Although I have yet to own a horse of my own,
I've come across enough that I'd like to consider mine, if only temporarilly.

First and foremost I'd like to say hello to my most favorite horse in the world.
He left us to go graze in the big pasture in the sky in the fall of 2002.
JD, the buckskin quarter horse gelding who I rode at the riding stable
met with an unfortunate accident while out at pasture.
(One more sad lesson why horses and farm equipment shouldn't be kept in the same field.)
I never got to take any pictures of him for this website.
I'm gonna' miss you, old boy ... you're safe now.
Say hello to Chust Say No, or "Chustie" as I like to call her. She was my charge for all of, oh ... spring break 2004.

This is Lead With Marilyn ... she's so cool.
... and she loves to play beauty parlor. :o)

Astrollogical is a sweet ol' standardbred mare that I took care of over the summer.
She's the nicest girl, and although she's not
the best looking horse in the world, I still think she's cute!
And, of course, she was sold at a Delaware sale (surprise, surprise).

This is 270. Yes, her name's 270.
She's a standardbred that they're using for a study at OSU.
She's a cranky ol' mare, but I think she's great.

This is Bucky (Ima Eagle Bars Too).
He's a quarter horse at UF.
They use him in the riding program up there ... atleast they did while I was up there.

This is Howie Hylight. He's a standardbred too.
He broke a bone in his foot one day and went to the Amish.
Hopefully he'll return to the racing world one of these days!!

Now, this is my girl, Nice N Sassy.
This mare was witchy as all, but I loved her anyway!!
This ol' girl was sold, and was reportedly turned into a broodmare. :o(

This is Hoyt Hylight. He's also a standardbred, and he's a stud colt (with the brains--or lack there of--to match; Although now in the records it says he's a gelding--YAY!!!). I could sit there and watch this horse all day ... not only is he handsome, but he loved to play with his rubber ball, traffic cone, whatever happened to be within reach. He was sold at a Delaware sale.

This Maggie, my mare from Findlay. She too was sold, but she went at an auction at UF.
