My Trip to Wonderul Wyoming
For spring break 2000, my boyfriend (at the time) Sean and I went to Wyoming.
He has some family out there, and he's lived out there for a few months.
Ever since I met Sean, he would talk about Wyoming, and how wonderful it is.
Well, this spring break, he decided he would drive me out there to see this
mystical place he's been talking about all along. He got in touch with his
aunt and uncle, who live out there, and they were more than willing to let us
come out and visit.
We left from Findlay, Ohio. Our first stop was at the gas station. (fun fun, I know) Sean was so excited. I was thrilled to be going somewhere, but he knew where we were going, so it made it all the more so for him.

Here's Sean, "with that 'going to Wyoming feeling'."
Our trip took us through several states, some of which I'd never been in before ... Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin ...
We didn't have to stop for fuel untl we almost got to the MIssissippi River on the west border of Wisconsin.

And funny, it wasn't as cheesey of a place as I'd imagined.
And then we crossed the "mighty Mississippi" ... which I didn't think was that impressive at all. I discovered later that this was because I was too far north.

And although you can't see it from this picture (snapped whizzing across a bridge), it was quite icy, and people were even ice-fishing!
Then it was on to Minnesota.
(not a big sota, just a li'l one ...)

The farms were huge, much unlike Ohio ... I thought it was quite pretty. But I hadn't seen anything remotely close to "pretty" yet, as I would learn later.
Keep on truckin' ...
